Are you building your own dreams?
Have you ever had
dreams? Dreams of doing something you have longed to do since years. Dreams of
being someone you would love to see as your reflection in the mirror. Dreams of actually living your life.
If yes, then what is
stopping you? Why are you not what you want to be? Why are you not doing what
you want to do? Are you afraid of failures? Are you afraid of your
dreams?
Or maybe you are
facing what many people who dare to dream face. You are so occupied in working
on your job, trying to live up to the expectations of your family, friends and
mentors and trying to fill the holes in your soul with crispy notes.
You are so busy in
doing all such things that it becomes impossible for you to even think
about taking out some extra time to work on your dream. It is just not possible
for you to say ‘no’ to things you have been doing since so long. It is just not
possible for you to start working on your own dream. No problem.
But for a minute,
analyze what you’re actually doing. The job you’re doing or the degree you are
studying – why are you doing it? For whom? Is it making you happy? Is it making
you happier than what you could have been if you had opted for doing what you
dreamt of?
If that little voice
in your heart said ‘no’, you know what you should be doing now. You should be
working to build your own dream instead of someone else’s. You should be
spending sleepless nights to plan and get your dream see the light of reality.
Go. Start working on it because if you don’t start it now, you would spend your
entire life in building someone else’s dream and making it come true.
