The right way to love someone

You love someone so much that you are ready to die for that person. Everything you want is to keep that person happy. You can give up all your dreams for that person. All you want is your love to be happy even if that takes you far apart from that very person. You can even leave your love for his happiness. This is how your love is.

This type of love is very rare these days. Very few people in this world are lucky enough to find such a loving person in their life. Everyone would want to be loved this way. Isn't

 it so?

A story - guy and a girl. They fall in love. After sometime the guy realizes that he has become a hurdle for the girl's success and happiness. Both of them love each other and want to be together. But loving isn't always enough in this world. Rite?

The guy tries to make everything all right. But fixing up the problems isn't that easy. At the end, when he was left with no hope to keep everything at place, he decides to leave the girl for he didn't want the girl to see failure like he did. He didn't want her to be 'him'. The girl sees his soulless body and that's where the story ends.

"See, the guy loved her so much that he died for her. That is true love."

"Oh come on, the guy didn't love the girl that much."

"Oh really, why do you think he committed suicide then? He tried to make her happy. He tried his best. But he failed. All he could do was to leave her. And he was so much in love that he knew if he just went far away; the girl would never forget him. That's why he chose death. Because you do forget dead people much easier than people who are alive.”

Well, that's what most of the people would say, I guess. Love, for which you can give your life, is the extreme form of love. True Love.

Life isn't an easy game. Every day you are presented with new level of difficulties. You need to overcome all those difficulties before you complete that level. Love is what makes life worthwhile. Having someone in your life that can make you happy, who can make you feel wanted, with whom you can never feel alone, with whom you feel powerful, with whom you feel nice, this is what keeps you going.

But loving a person isn't that easy. It's going to be too difficult. You would be tested all the time. You would be tested for your love. And whether you pass or fail decides if it's really love or not. You would have to keep everything in place. You would have to make sure that your loved one is happy and contented with what you give him. Things would go wrong way. Everything would seem to fall apart. But that's the very moment true love comes into the picture. If you are really in love, you would try your best to keep everything all right. And remember that, you are never going to succeed in your first shot. But you need to keep trying until everything becomes the way you want.

The guy in the story tried too, but he failed and he chose death. People say that he proved his love. I say that he was really a coward who just realized that what he called love wasn't really so. Because for me, if you love a person truly, you would keep trying to make that person happy until you succeed.

"But sometimes you are left with no option except leaving your loved one. You know that if you stay together, you can never make him happy."

How can someone be sure that going away is the only option? In fact this is never an option. It’s a choice. The choice between proving your love by facing everything together and parting your ways with a hope of things to get better.

I don’t know if I am right or wrong.  But I would never want to be loved the way the guy did in that story.

For me, the love should be powerful enough to face what we call 'life'. The love should have courage and determination to keep trying. Nothing is perfect. But I want someone who would keep on trying to be perfect. I don't want my life to be a fairy tale where everything goes the perfect way. I want a normal life where things do go wrong, where we do feel pain, where we do shed tears but we still keep trying to be happy with each other. I need to be loved in the most difficult way - the way in which you never quit, the way in which both of us become happy and contented, where we both realize our dreams and aspirations. I don’t want sacrifices. I just want love and happiness. That’s it.

So, if you really love a person, try to make that person happy in every possible way. Don't make his condition worse by going away from him. Because it would leave him feeling that you went away when he needed you the most. That's not how love works.

That’s how you should love a person. Remember, love isn’t for cowards. Only brave persons can fall in true love. The persons who are ready to do anything to be with their loved ones. That’s what I call – ‘True Love’

Love someone truly or just don't fall in love.
